Musichelp is a service company for record labels and individual artists. The company was founded 2006 and sprung out from the record label Dead frog records that has been around since 1990.
Musichelp is not a record label instead we like to call us a music company. Yes we have our own label, our own codes and own a couple of big catalogues. Also we have our own publishing side. Still we are more selling the service instead of signing. We provide services that before many times was offered by record labels but today are missing. We can offer almost anything in the music area accept for one thing, booking of live gigs. We have some special areas which is our main focus:
Digital services. We have built the service site Musicbase, to provide our customers with the latest and best thing on the digital side. We started out to be a distributor (aggregator) to get people to the biggest sites on the net like I-tunes, Spotify, Nokia music, CDon and so on. We noticed that many services are hard to reach for small labels or independent artists so we open up that door as a starter. Now we will release also marketing tools on the digital side and also get PR things digitally to radio.
Physical distribution. We own a distribution system in Sweden (DFR). So we can offer an opportunity to reach stores in Sweden for physical releases.
Music branding, an area we have worked a long time and also a lot abroad. We have put in music in movies, TV-series, videogames and commercials. We have worked with Hilton Garden Hotel, Coca cola, GAP, GB glace, Späck, Flatout, What about Brian, Roswell, Hip Hip Hora, Strandvaskaren just to name a few. Here we reach out to the whole world. We also have team with writers and studios to fast produce custom made songs.
CD-pressing. We provide the knowledge and service to press high quality CD:s in Sweden. Even small productions with short time range.
PR. We have connections to almost whole Europe to do marketing. In USA we provide agents and connections to Music branding. Still Sweden is our main market on PR.
